The European Bread Museum and the Folklore Museum of Varnavas, Municipality of Marathon, continue their social outreach to our country’s educational community throughout June 2026.
This time, the initiative was dedicated to the Special Primary School of Heraklion, Attica. Volunteers and staff members from the two museums guided the young visitors through both museum spaces and carried out the experiential activity “Learning About Animals Through Kneading,” with flour taking center stage.

Tuesday 17 of February, the Special Kindergarten of Marousi visited the European Bread Museum free of charge and participated in an interactive educational program about bread.

Close to the children of a) the Foundation for the Child “PAMMAKARISTOS”, b) the Special Primary School of Nea Makris and c) the Kindergarten Varnavas of the municipality of Marathon, the staff and volunteers of the Varnavas Folklore Company and the European Museum of Artos attended these holy days, carrying out the Bread-Harmony program under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Culture.
