We invite you on Friday 8 September 2023 at 8 pm to the opening of the event “Achilleia 2023” at the Varnavas Museums.
The two-day event, which will take place on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September 2023, will include speeches, medical exhibits, art exhibitions and live music (POP, Violin & Rebetiko) and will be dedicated to the late Professor of Medicine, Achilles Turkantonis. Born in Varnavas, Attica in 1935, he presented a remarkable body of work in Greece and abroad and linked his name inextricably with medical education and health. His autobiography will be presented on the first day of the event by political scientist Vasso Kollia.
