The activities of the experiential program “Bread-Harmony” by the Varnavas Folklore Company and the European Museum of Bread with the support and patronage of the Ministry of Culture continue with great success.
The museum staff carried out two actions in the last few days in Thessaloniki, namely at the 17th Primary School and the 16th Kindergarten. The two actions, respectively titled “Learning about animals by dough” & “the 4 seasons”, gave the young students the motivation for intellectual development and relaxation through a free and creative expression. An important part of the programme was the creation of decorative objects and figures from dough, drawing inspiration from the natural and social environment.
In the coming weeks, the programs of ” Bread-Harmony” will take place in and around Attica in Friendship Clubs, Special Education schools and institutions as well as the additional purpose of the program is to provide an interesting educational experience for the elderly and people with disabilities through art and creativity.
The programme and its activities are supported with flour by Dakos Mills.
